OPAL

We gathered at Kantrybaer with local friends Sara, Almar, Oscar, and Indie to try two different shots of Opal, an Icelandic liquor. There is also Opal candy, which is very popular. I liked the first shot, which was Minty and clear in color. The 2nd, not so much, as it tasted strongly of licorice. Chocolate covered licorice is big here as well. Always festive, I have tried that as well but did not care for it. We then headed to the Studio where Jared Dj'd from his fabulous music collection and Almar showed us an excellent dance he invented called The Horse--I wish I had a picture of that!
