Kelly's friend Frank is in a great band from Charleston called Gaslight Street! We caught them when they came to Charlotte at the Double Door. They are coming again to the Neighborhood Theatre on Sept 11th.

View from the Bechtler Museum balcony...this is the Mint Museum under construction. The Bechtler is designed by Swiss architect Mario Botta; I went on a tour of the building and was blown away. I can't wait for it to open!

The building on the left is the Afro American Cultural Center, also under construction.
